How to recover form data if your computer crashes - Online

How to recover form data if your computer crashes

http://getlazarus.com/

Remember the last time you lost everything you'd typed into that web-form? And there didn't seem to be any way to get it back?  Well, there's one sure way to make sure nothing like that ever happens again; you just need to

Lazarus auto-saves web-forms as you type, so if a server times out, your cat wanders across the keyboard, you close the page by accident, or anything else goes wrong, you can simply return to that page, click the Lazarus icon next to the form, and select what you want to recover. It's just that easy.

The 3 Step Guide to Lazarus Form Recovery

After installing Lazarus, whenever something goes wrong with a web form, instead of pulling your hair out and screaming in frustration, you'll find that all you need to do is...

1: Navigate back to the form you were working on, and click inside a text box.

2: Click the Lazarus icon to show a history of previous form entries:

3: As you mouse over the list,  a live preview appears inside the form. Click to select the version you want to recover.

And that's all you really need to know!

Having said that, there a few options you should familiarize yourself with at some point, and we recommend setting a password so that nobody *else* can recover your form entries, and signing up for Lazarus Sync so you can recover after you've been forced to reinstall your web browser for some reason, or share your drafts between two or more browsers you use on a regular basis.
